It's amazing how I have lived in Hampton Roads my entire life, and yet, I still find new enchanting places to explore. This time, my guide was Jada as she showed me parts of Norfolk that I have not seen before. Though it was in the middle of winter, it was surprisingly warm as we wandered to the Pagoda from the Hague (though there were moments where we were grateful for our coats). We both were laughing as we swapped stories from events in our lives that the surrounding area reminded us about. And of course, what excursion downtown would be complete without stopping at a bakery--a bakery that nonetheless specialized in macarons (Hummingbird Macarons)? It was truly a memorable afternoon.
